Located in Katsura, Nishikiyo on the western bank of the Katsura River. The Katsura Imperial Villa in the Spring is a photograph of a Imperial home that is being associated with the the outdoor scenery including the gardens and border of the Imperial buildings. the original owner of the home was the prince of the Hachijo-n-miya family. The entire scene is known to be the property of Japan in the name of the areas importance of culture. These grounds are exemplifies traditional Japanese gardening which underlines the importance of Japan preserving this space. The garden is meant to be appreciated with it’s residence with a kind of tranquil serenity during tea ceremonies so that the multitude of flora may be admired throughout the different seasons.
