Additional Notes: This print shows a more rural depiction of the Edo period; Misaka much like every town during this period was still behind Edo’s rapid development. Although these homes don’t have many distinguishable features, they most resemble farm homes as seen through their thatched roofs. They are also single story homes which means they most likely have doma (dirt-place) flooring.
